What a difference a year makes! Lots of transdim locals off doing their own thing; the most important players are pwning Eve, some are back on EQ, some in DDO (now free!!!). Others are consoling, PCing, and 40King. Hopefully we'll all meet up again soon, I rather miss the chaos of an online transdim group : ). STO anyone?

 

Gaming titles this past year were fair, lots of console goodies in '09. Madden 10 was a big hit, no surprise there. The Beatles for Rock Band a definite bone for the fans of the music/era. Fallout was awesome. Xbox Live has proved to be a worthy investment for all.

 

In community news, Facebook is dadonculous, one of us turned 40, and the baby/work/school/domestic goddess thing has turned out to be very hard to keep up with. What would we do without the games to keep us sane!?!?

Heh, I let a full year go by this time. So what's happened in a year? Star Trek Online got canned and picked back up, Rock Band blew everyone away, Drago got his own place, I graduated from college, 5th edition rules came out for 40k, and me and Aiz had a baby!

 

I'm leaving out tons of other gaming info I'm sure but I am mostly consumed by the baby : ). I go back to work in a week, part time at first and without any classes this semester I'll have some time to get back to working on the site a little, see if I can fire things up a bit. Time will tell. In the meantime go go go, play play play!

Yikes, sure has been a while! Meh, I always say that. Not many updates to share...

 

The spammer problem was not solved by changing forum software so we will not be changing them again and I will make them viewable to guests as was requested some time ago. I am learning some stuff in a programming class this semester that might help, we'll see.

 

I put the Gallery up today. It's absolutely pitiful, please help populate it. Once you register for the gallery I'll set you up with your own folder in each category to upload as you please.

 

Still cracking out on EQ2, what a great game : ).

The new boards are ready. The link is available from the forums as well, go get registered and we'll move over in about a week. Still working on the gallery but mostly just playing EQ2 : ).

Sheesh, been a loooong time since I've done any work on the site. Well the opportunists have called me out. I am friggin' tired of people signing up on our forums just so they can spam a million others. What can I do about it? Apparently nothing if I want to stick with the Simple Machine's php so I'm switching us over to a securable platform, Vanilla or something or other.

 

I've actually been toying with new ones all day but got sidetracked with the gallery feature so....will likely see the gallery up before the new forums. Prolly make that little graphic thing Kelk asked for like a year ago too. Anyway, be prepared to re-register for TDG forums. I will still make all the old forum content available but I don't work real fast (not true, I work incredibly fast, just not that often!) so if there's anything out of the current forums you want to have access to soon; make a copy, link, download or whatever for yourself. I'll put updates here on what's new and old and done.

Consequently this also marks the one-year anniversary of TDG. I'd like to thank everyone for their part in making it happen and for keeping it going as well. There's been a lot of progress and input so far and I'm looking forward to see where we go from here.
